Ok, I will explain about procedure text, do you know procedure text? In this post I will explain about procedure text. Before we make something we should know how to make it, so we have to read some procedure right? So we make it.  Procedure text is a text to describe how to make or doing something. It’s very easy when you want to try.

PROCEDURE TEXT 

It’s the social functional of procedure text, and it has the Purpose  to help readers how to do or make something completely.

1.      Goal/Aim

2.      Materials/Equipments

3.      Steps/Method

o      The Language Features of procedure text are :

1.      Using Simple Present Tense

2.      Using Imperatives sentence

3.      Using adverb

4.      Using technical terms

The example of procedure text.

Ingredients :

v                  100 g wheat flour

v                  40 g maizena flour

v                  8 eggs

v                  90 g chocolate powder

v                  200 g sugar

v                  1 tablespoon SP

v                  ¼ teaspoon vanila

v                  100 g butter (melt)

Garnish :

v                  500 g butter cream ingredients

v                  100 g dark cooking chocolate (small plane)

v                  15 red cherry

v                  150 g blueberry jam

v                  75 ml caramel

Equipments :

v                   Mixer vanila, mix whet flour, maizena flour, chocolate powder and  mix until ingredients are mix well so sieve.

v        Mix eggs, sugar, and SP until them thick and expand.

v        Present mixed flour mix until it’s mix well and more melt butter, mix well.

v        Pour butter into the ironpan (20cm). So grill in the oven (190⁰C) for 45 minutes.

v        Cool in a wire rack.

v        Cut cake on scale vertical in two slice.

v         Layer with caramel and butter cream on the two slice cake.

v        More blueberry jam on the cake, join two sliced cake become one cake.

v        Garnish with ordinance dark cooking chocolate until smooth.

v        More butter cream, so garnish with red cherry.

v         Cut free and serve it.

In another example you can make something you want, such as juice, fried rice, noodle etc. and please you choose one of them, and then you have to write procedure text based on the picture what you want and don't forget you should write procedure text using simple present tense.
