Description Text The Definition and Purpose of Descriptive Text Descriptive text is a text which say what a person or a thing is like. Its purpose is to describe and reveal a particular person, place, or thing. The Generic Structure of Descriptive Text Descriptive text has structure as below: Identification; identifying the phenomenon to be described. Description; describing the phenomenon in parts, qualities,and characteristics. The Language Feature of Descriptive Text Using attributive and identifying process. Using adjective and classifiers in nominal group. Using simple present tense Title : The Bunaken Nation Park	The Bunaken Park was finally established in 1991 and it is the first of Indonesia growing system Marine park	The park covers a total surface area of 89,065 hectares. 97%of which is overlain by sparking clear, warm tropical water. The remaining 3%of the park is terrestrial , including the five island of Bunaken, Manado,nain, Siladen, Mantehaga dan Tua. Although each of these islands has a special character, it is aquatic ecosystem that attacts most naturalist. The water of Bunaken National Marine Park is extremely deep (1566 m in Manado Bay), clear (up to 35-40 m visibility), refreshing in temperature (27-290C) and harbor some or highest levels of  biodiversity in the world pick any group of interest-coral, fish, echinoderms or sponge and the number of  families, genre or speciesis bound to be astonishingly high. For example, species of giant clams that occur in the world occur in Bunaken. The park has around 70 genera of corals: compare this to a mere 10 in Hawaii. Although the exact number of fish is unknow, it may be slightly higher than in Philippines, where 2,500 species, or nearly 70% of all fish species known to the indo-western pacific, are found.
